5. You can also consider grounding your dog if he is seriously destructive.

6. You can also use aromatherapy to calm the anxiety in your dog. You can add calming scents such as lavender to the dog’s environment.

7. If nothing else works, there are medications to treat anxiety in pet dogs. You can find numbers of drugs that are not sedatives and when combined with behavioral cures can do wonders for your anxious dog.
