Stress Management

Do You Suffer From Male P.M.S? Yes, Pre-Menstrual Stress!

It is a fact that men suffer from Pre-Menstrual Stress (PMS). This problem happens when the male hormonal system goes out of balance.  Men however have no way of knowing that  what they are experiencing is PMS, simply because they don’t menstruate.

In case men experience fatigue or get upset during work at an interval of 5 to 6 days, it may be on account of  the male hormonal cycle and  pre menstrual stress. This stress creates anxiousness. If the anxiousness repeats itself at regular intervals then it is a case of PMS.

Statistics reveals that men die earlier than women. Health statistics are against men, as they are prone to  heart disease and other health related problems. Men are not so efficient in combating stress as women are. As a result stress affects them more than it does women. Stress takes a toll on the hormonal system. It is the hormonal system which controls cholesterol, stress response and blood pressure. Problems in these areas happen more often with men than women.

The fact of the matter is that first symptom of hormonal imbalance in men is not heart attack or increase and decrease in blood levels. PMS is the first symptom of hormonal imbalance in men. This is the body’s way of giving warning signals that there is an imbalance in the hormonal activity. These warnings are usually ignored and they become bigger problems which are capable of creating much more damage.
In women the effects of PMS generally range from mild health problems to uterine cancer. Men with PMS have heart attacks. Fluctuations in hormonal levels  result in testicular cancer, prostate cancer and heart disease.  Overall health conditions worsen over a period of time. PMS is the main reason of ill health. It is advisable to take proper measures for complete cure.
