Meditate Your Way To A De-Stressed Life |

From times immemorial meditation has been
practiced for various reasons. Some times to reach god and sometimes to
know the self. It is also a very helpful, recommended and popular tool
for stress management. Here's how you have to go about it:
A) Take up a
relaxed position which is comfortable for you.
B) Choose the target on
which you want to focus. It could be anything from a smell to a picture.
C) Focus on the target that you have chosen. You don't have to only
think about it but also experience it thoroughly.
D) Don't let your
mind digress. Put all other day-to-day worries aside and focus on your
target. If your mind keeps loosing track, try and bring it back to the
target.
E) Stay in the state for as long as possible.
F) Practice
this daily. It may sound incomplete to you but as you start practicing
it, you'll understand it better.
Meditation needs time and
practice. Start with short sessions and gradually, as you go on,
increase the time span. Don't get frustrated in the initial phase. After
all, practice makes a man perfect.
